Catskiing and Catboarding in NORTH ICELAND
Sporttours are the first operators of Cat Skiing and Cat Boarding in Iceland. We operate in the extreme mountains at “Tröllaskagi” Troll Peninsula. Troll Peninsula is located in the North part of Iceland just below the Arctic Circle. The uniqueness of this area is obviously the fact that you can ski from top to bottom, literally! The mountains rise from the ocean that gives you a chance of skiing all the way down to sea level.
1 day Cat Skiing/Cat Boarding in the great Troll Peninsula area.
Included in the package:
Skiing/Snowoarding: A full day of backcountry Cat Skiing/ Cat Boarding in our area.
Mountain Meals: A gourmet high mountain lunch that is eaten between runs. Snacks and drinks are also in the Snowcat to keep your energy up for the whole day.
Guiding: One guide for every 8-10 riders. The guide goes in front of you choosing the safest and best route for each run.
Transportation: We pick you up at your Hotel/Cottage in Akureyri area on our Super Jeeps and drive you to the Troll Peninsula Cat Skiing/ Cat Boarding area and back after a great day in the mountains.
Rates per person: 59.000 ISK, for a full day. (min 6 pers)
